Program Development
Denali Safety Council will occasionally sponsor a project for a specific safety purpose. For example, we worked with Airgas, Alyeska Pipeline Service Co, and the Fairbanks Northstar Volunteer Fire Department to construct a training device for firefighters to practice confined space entry and rescue.
We can also develop complete programs on specific aspects of safety. Such programs may be on any topic within Council member’s shared expertise, such as facility inspections or job-site safety manuals, and are developed and funded according to terms agreed to by the requester.
We are sometimes called upon to present safety meetings for other organizations. Our members work in many areas of safety so we can address a significant variety of topics. Schools also ask us to make presentations on specific subjects as part of some event they are sponsoring.
