Monthly Meetings

Denali Safety Council meetings are a forum for diverse groups and individuals interested in safety to discuss their goals and needs, and to provide support to or seek help from each other.

The Council meets on the first Tuesday of each month. A featured speaker presents an educational topic; committee reports and other discussion subjects are also covered. Attendees share their recent safety concerns and lessons learned and discuss status of business and community projects. Meetings are open to anyone with an interest in safety.

These sessions are an opportunity for safety professionals and non-professionals alike to meet and exchange ideas with others in the safety field and to find information helpful to their current needs.

Meeting Place: Denali Safety Council meets the first Tuesday of each month at 11:30 AM at the Alaska Spine Institute. The address is 3801 University Lake Drive, Anchorage. (A map is included below).

The coffee shop “Rxpresso”, at the new location, can make sandwiches but it’s best to call ahead or there can be a long wait as there is only one young lady working. The manager suggested calling by 10:00 AM @ 677-4790. She can read the menu over the phone and there will be copies of the menu available at the counter after that. The coffee shop is on the first floor to the immediate right when you first enter the building. The meeting room is on the second floor, on the left when you exit the elevator.
